The noble dinner service "Cobalt Blue Edges with Brocade Painting" is a true work of art, an elegant Biedermeier service by Johann Daniel Schöne (1767-1843) and part of the "Limited Masterpieces" of 2014. It consists of two cups with matching saucer, sugar bowl, creamer and jug. All pieces are hand-painted with festive decor in gold brocade painting, a new technique developed by MEISSEN. The finest ornaments, painted on with glaze, stand out brilliantly against the matte surface of 23k gold. A cobalt blue border makes the extraordinary decoration shine. A work of art, and arguably the classiest way to enjoy a coffee. This beautiful hand-painted dinner service is limited to 25 pieces. Handmade and hand painted in Germany in a tradition of porcelain figurines from the world famous Meissen, Europe's oldest porcelain manufactory.
